 About the Position

The Accountant will manage the day to day accounting for our global operations. You will also drive and participate in projects, and build internal processes while continuously looking out for improvements we can implement.




Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end closing duties and ensure accuracy and meet timelines
  • Responsible for the full set of accounts
  • Responsible for monthly account reconciliation
  • Responsible for month-end closing reports
  • Managing cash flow
  • Manage daily operations of the finance department
  • Oversee AR and AP
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, consultants, etc
  • Setting up policies to close the identified gaps, implement an effective workaround to improve the efficiency and accuracy of internal processes and deliverables
  • Suggest ideas for company procedure improvement
  • Other ad-hoc duties

About You 

  • Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA etc)
  • At least 3 years of working experience in accounting and finance with full sets experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced and high growth environment
  • A flexible mindset to solve company issues
  • Have a strong determination to contribute to the growth of the company using your financial skills and knowledge
  • Experience working in multiple entity company with foreign exchange exposure
  • The ability to be detail oriented, but can visualise the larger impact of a series of transactions
  • A good understanding of both financial and operational controls
